Imagine you're nestled amidst stunning scenery, the sun warms your face, and the air whispers with the promise of adventure. But your stomach starts grumbling, yearning for something more than just campfire fare. Fear not, fellow Glamper! Enter the Traeger smoker, your secret weapon for transforming your RV trip into a culinary delight.

Forget the days of settling for bland camp meals. A smoker unlocks a world of culinary possibilities, right in your RV. Imagine slow-smoked ribs falling off the bone, juicy pork butt, or perfectly caramelized veggies bursting with freshness. The smoky magic doesn't stop there – smokers can also grill, bake, roast, and even braise, transforming simple ingredients into gourmet masterpieces.

But wait, there's more! Unlike traditional smokers, Traegers are electric, making them perfect for RV glamping. No more battling open flames or worrying about charcoal supplies. Plus, their compact size and portability make them ideal for travel. With various Traeger models available, picking the perfect one for your glamping adventure can be daunting when you consider

your RV's storage space, how you will transport it and how many mouths you'll be feeding. But don’t worry, we have the perfect one.

Since it is just the two of us and the occasional fellow jealous campers that cannot stay away from the enticing aromas that we invite to enjoy these savory meals with us, the Traeger Pro D2 575 Wifi pellet grill is perfect. We can easily make enough food for 6-8 with left overs for later.

Portability? Let's face it, RVs aren't known for their ample storage. But fear not, intrepid glampers! With a few smart modifications, your Traeger can become an RV-friendly travel companion. We chose this model because it has a handle and wheels for easy transport although it was a bit taller than we liked. As most guys love to "work" on things, my husband

removed the legs, cut them down in length, added new holes and then re-attached them. Now it's called the mini-smoker!

We have two ways of transporting our Traeger. Using a hitch mounted cargo carrier on our toad makes it nice to just leave it there to use, no unhooking, no moving, simple and quick and at a great height. We can also easily lift it in and out of the bed our our F150 toad and move it around the camp. Just remember, stability is key and always make sure it is secured down tight for transport!

Fuel efficiency does matter. Electric Traegers are ideal for RV glamping, as they plug into your RV's power outlet or at the campsite if you have hookups. No need to make sure you have enough propane or charcoal.

Clean up is easy too. Simply let it cool down and wipe down the grill grates.

Don’t forget to treat your Smoker like a cherished travel companion. Pack essential accessories like:

Heavy-duty extension cord to ensure you can reach your RV's power outlet or hookup.

Seasoning spray: Keep your Traeger in top shape with regular seasoning.

Cleaning supplies: Pack wipes, brushes, and aluminum foil for easy post-smoke cleanup.

Wood pellets: Choose your favorite flavors for endless culinary experimentation.

Be warned of the Envy Factor – you know you will have to prepare for Drool-Worthy Aromas and Curious Campfire Neighbors. Those mouthwatering aromas emanating from your Smoker will turn heads and ignite serious case of food envy among your fellow Glampers. Prepare to share your culinary creations and swap recipes around the campfire!

Ditch the burger rut! Smokers are culinary chameleons that don't have to be used only at home.
